Episode 11: Mitsuko Brooks was born in the Aomori Prefecture of Japan and moved to the United States at an early age. She is a 1.5 generation Shin-Issei Japanese American artist living and working in New York. Her mail art collages, artists books, zines, and assemblages are in special collections and libraries throughout North America, including the Smithsonian's Archive of American Art.
